We are pleased to confirm that the all weather surfacing works for LCI 5/1, LCI 5/2 and BCS 6/1 have now been fully approved and work is due to commence on the 25th March 2026 on 5/2 and 6/1 followed by 5/1 in early April (weather dependent).

This upgrade will make a noticeable difference to usability and resilience, and it’s a great step forward for the community and it's link to the Phoenix Trail cycleway.
