Free advice and training for Bucks small charities
17/06/2021
National Small Charity Week(14-19 June) celebrates and raises
awareness of the essential work carried out by small charities in
Buckinghamshire. It also offers them the opportunity to participate in training
at both a national and local level to equip them with information and skills to
overcome challenges and to thrive.
With four out of five charitable
organisations in the county considered small (annual income of under £100,000), the vast majority of Bucks not-for-profits have been hit hard by the
pandemic which has restricted income generation while driving up demand for
services.
If you work or volunteer for a Bucks voluntary organisation
which needs help, local charity Community Impact Bucks supports groups at
all stages of their development from getting started, to developing policies
and procedures, and securing funds and volunteers through online resources,
training and events, and one-to-one tailored advice. To find out how the
Community Impact Bucks team could help, read its Small but Mighty blog which also gives
details on how to receive weekly updates on new funds and
resources.
